Sticky Bindings

Sarah Fotheringay-Phipps and Barmy Carthwrite's latest creation "Sticky Bindings" is a tape bonanza of withering proportions. An avalanche of different coloured sticky tape has transformed the Honestly gallery into a giant psychedelic spiders lair.

Barmy, a good friend of the HHC, said of the exhibition in his typically ambiguous fashion; "with these current economic troubles boring the arse off everyone and his gran it falls to artists like us to waste a load of time and money watching gallery technicians stick a load of tape round the inside of a white box. We see the obvious Jim Lambie connection but our work is much better because we don't restrict ourselves to the floor."

The local church will be holding flower arranging classes in the gallery every Wednesday and Thursday at 11am.
